Platt Professional Counseling, LLC. is a growing group practice that is expanding and is in need of highly competent and compassionate therapists who have experience in working with children, adolescents and families.
Preferences include licensure in the State of Illinois (LCPC/LCSW/LMFT) with a preference of 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience. The clinician should be registered with CAQH and preferably paneled with major insurance providers.
The therapist would be hired as an independent contractor or an employee based on their level of credentialing. They would be expected to work 20 hours face-to-face hours per week as their practice grows. Compensation is on a percentage basis for fully credentialed counselors, or a flat hourly rate for provisionally licensed counselors, with opportunity for pay increases on an annual basis.
As most of our clients often request appointments for outside of normal 9-5 pm business hours, therapists are required to work 2 evenings per week. Saturday hours are offered as well. We are currently conducting sessions via both Telehealth and in person

Requirements are:
Current State of Illinois license as an LCPC, LPC, LCSW, LSW or LMFT
Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week to start, with expected expansion to full-time hours
Hours include at least 2 evenings per week
Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate experience
Preferred: Faith-based counselors
Preferred: Paneled with BCBS, AETNA, UHC
Therapists preferred to have received specialized training in one or more of the following:
Gottman Method, DBT, ACT, Trauma-Informed Evaluation and Treatment, Play Therapy Methods
Skills and Qualifications:
Solid clinical diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills
Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication and collaboration
A positive and optimistic attitude that welcomes flexibility and change as our practice grows
Organizational skills and the ability to independently manage client records
Self-discipline and ability to complete all necessary client documentation in a timely and thorough manner
Collaborative, positive minded, with an interest in being part of a strong clinical team
Comfort with electronic records and use of technology
Compassion, humor, and respect for clients and colleagues
The desire to learn, grow, and continually expand knowledge and clinical skills
Strong willingness to be the most helpful resource to our clients as possible
Commitment to practicing strong ethics and regulatory rules adherence regarding privacy of PHI and confidentiality Strong work ethic with consistent and timely responsiveness to phone calls, texts and emails.
