Bill Platt

Bill Platt is the Chief Support Officer (CSO) for his wife Donna and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Platt Professional Counseling (PPC). He has completed training and certification as a Certified Anger Management Specialist-I (CAMS-I) with the National Anger Management Association. Bill also serves as a pastoral/spiritual counselor and is certified as a Premarital Counselor in both SYMBIS and Prepare/Enrich programs.

Bill served as a Care and Support Pastor at Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park, IL for 9 years, until his retirement in 2022.

Prior to his service in ministry, he worked in both the public and private sectors. In 2005 he joined RQA, Inc where he held several positions in the Product Retrieval Division. In 2013, he retired from RQA as the Vice President, Operations.

He worked in the public sector for 29 years at the Chicago Transit Authority. He started his CTA career as a laborer and retired in 2004 as the General Manager, Rail Operations. Bill started his career in education in 1975 working for 2 years as a substitute teacher in the Chicago Public Schools.

He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and attained a bachelor’s degree in education in 1974. As a young adult, Bill studied Law at John Marshall Law School in Chicago, and later in life he attended Moody Bible Institute where he studied theology.
