Alek Savic is a Licensed Professional Counselor and hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (Counseling Practice) at Roosevelt University and Bachelor of Divinity from St. Sava School of Theology.

Alek has experience working with individuals and couples navigating grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship and marriage challenges, trauma, and spirituality. He incorporates evidence-based approaches to couples' therapy and has completed Level 2 Clinical Training in the Gottman Method through the Gottman Institute.

His main goals are to provide counseling services to various individuals concerning improving mental health, and personal growth, therewith improving their overall well-being. During the therapy process he regularly assists clients in discovery of their strengths, building a solid support system, and developing a healthy lifestyle to set the foundation for life success.

Due to his education, he welcomes spirituality into the counseling session when it is meaningful to the client. He strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space for all individuals to explore their challenges. Alek prefers to use an integrative approach that includes cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing techniques.

Alek is bilingual and speaks Serbian and English.
